Advent continues... we are waiting for Him to arrive!!

I hope you're enjoying the Advent Season. Last week in our house we focused on Old Testament prophesies and how there was about 400 years between their time and the time of Jesus' arrival. I reflected on faith and how we must choose to beleive, even in the waiting.

I know that this is such an incredibly busy time of year...church activities, end of semesters, extra stress on your schedule, your wallet and YOUR MIND!!! I'm going to continue to send you every week of this season some art, scripture, poetry and music. I hope that you visit it more than once to quiet your mind and spirit.

This week's art is of Elizabeth and Mary, greeting one another while John and Jesus get to "meet" each other for the first time. I think of my own children's relationships with their cousins and how precious it is that John was the herald for Jesus as the Christ.
